Our Approach
Most small businesses struggle and never harness their full potential for four key reasons:
- Employees are not empowered to find problems
- The company is not using a structured team problem-solving approach
- Employees are not utilizing continuous process improvement
- Employees do not have the same passion, vision, and goals as the owners
Most business owners focus the majority of their efforts on trying to increase sales. Why? Because they believe an increase in sales will solve their problems, and much of the business instruction in our nation is focused on sales.
Of course, sales are the lifeblood of the business, but what about your people and your processes? Your people are your most important asset. Your operations represent 70-80% of your costs. Learning to improve your people and processes ignite quality, growth, and profits.
COSi is a management system for accomplishing significant improvement in the areas of: profitability, quality, growth and performance for small and medium-sized companies. What is achieved in the first 12 months of the program will take most companies 4-5 years to accomplish on their own. The average COSi graduate improves 5-10 times in several key measurable areas of the business.
COSi is based upon half-day hands-on classroom training sessions and weekly one-hour coaching sessions over the course of a year. We do not consult, we teach and coach the owners, managers and employees how to use and implement the COSi tools.
Our Market Strategy
At COSi, we work hand-in-hand with Trade Associations, CPAs, Banks, Procurement Departments, Wealth Managers, Business Brokers and Economic Development Agencies. These companies and organizations then introduce the COSi program to their trusted clients.
For associations, we look to establish a true partnership that provides a positive relationship between COSi, the organizations with which we work, and the association members. The association wins as they can realize an added revenue stream for their business while providing clear value for member retention and new member development. The association member wins as they continue to thrive in a challenging market. And, we win as we continue to focus on a program that allows us to bring economic stability to our communities.
For Banks, CPAs, Procurement Departments, Business Brokers, Wealth Managers and Economic Development Organizations, we can provide their constituents with the training needed to keep them financially viable and profitable. Once again, this helps keep a community economically whole and viable.
We have successfully partnered with a number of organizations to bring our unique program to their members. Here are just a few of the associations we have worked with:
